Ömer Birgen Bio

Prior to joining Taxim Capital, Mr. Birgen served as a general manager at his family’s construction company. He was mainly responsible for finance, strategic planning, sales & marketing, and procurement. Prior to that, Mr. Birgen worked at Boston Consulting Group for five years in Chicago and New York offices. At BCG, he advised clients on strategy, pricing, corporate development, procurement, post-merger integration topics in CPG, industrial goods and healthcare firms. He also completed numerous due diligence projects for private equity clients. Mr. Birgen double majored in Civil Engineering and Economics at Northwestern University and received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
