Berkin Mungan Bio

Prior to joining Taxim Capital, Mr. Mungan was a director at UniCredit’s Principal Investments group in London for eight years, focusing on origination and execution of private equity investments in the CEE region and leading the team’s operations in Turkey. Before that he worked for four years as an investment banker at CA-IB Corporate Finance (later part of the UniCredit Group) and Garanti Securities in Istanbul, participating in many M&A, privatization and capital markets transactions. He started his career at Citibank as a money market dealer. Mr. Mungan received his BS in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, MS in Finance and his MBA from University of Arizona; he is also a CFA charter holder.
