Hawken Lord Bio

Hawken Lord has strong experience across private equity, investment banking, and as an independent consultant. A broad range of transactional experience includes 5 successful M&A deals and 30+ equity and debt capital raising transactions. Hawken worked as an investment specialist at H.I.G. Capital, a global private equity firm with over $45 bn of AUM. At H.I.G., Hawken specialized in consumer, industrial, and healthcare investments. At H.I.G. Capital, he was responsible for in-depth due diligence and detailed financial and operating models, negotiating confidentiality agreements and third-party scopes, and positioning investment opportunities with third-party lenders. He managed four portfolio companies by collaborating with senior management through monthly financial updates and quarterly board meetings to evaluate operational performance, strategic planning, and exit opportunities. Hawken holds an MBA Degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University. Hawken is also the founder of Edgewater Strategy Group, a leading advisory and consulting firm.
