Mr. Pereira-Mendoza is a Managing Director and European Head of Origination and Sourcing. Prior to joining SVP, Mr. Pereira-Mendoza was responsible for Leveraged Finance Distribution in EMEA at Credit Suisse. Mr. Pereira-Mendoza has focused on leveraged finance for his entire career in a variety of roles; he held roles at Credit Suisse from 2000 to 2023, having rejoined the bank in 2000 upon its merger with Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. Prior to Credit Suisse, he started his career at NatWest Markets from 1994-1998. Mr. Pereira-Mendoza received a BA in Geography from the University of Manchester.
