Eldar Pius Bio

Mr. Pius is a Managing Director in the Capital Markets team and is responsible for European financing / capital markets activities. Prior to joining Strategic Value Partners in 2023, Mr. Pius was an investment banker at Barclays in London. Mr. Pius joined Barclays in 2008 and was most recently a Managing Director in the European Leveraged Finance team, where he was focused on the origination of high yield bond and leveraged loan transactions for financial sponsors and sub-investment grade corporates. Mr. Pius received an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Durham in 2007 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) from BPP Law School in 2008.
