Mr. Wright is Vice President at Surge Private Equity. He primarily leads deal origination across all industry verticals and provides support for portfolio companies. Prior to joining Surge, he was employed as an Analyst for Shell Exploration and Production Company. Before that, he worked as an Analyst for the Philip M. Dorr Investment Fund. During his time there, Mr. Wright was responsible for overseeing the Information Technology sector. Prior to that, he worked as an Analyst for glendonTodd Capital LLC, a Dallas-based private equity firm. Mr. Wright graduated cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting. He is currently pursuing his CPA. Originally from Dallas, he enjoys traveling the world, playing basketball, and reading.
