Maarten Peers Bio

Maarten leads the private equity activity at Straco. He is responsible for the development and the day to day activities of the private equity portfolio as well as the management of the investment team. Before joining Straco to launch the private equity strategy Maarten was Manager at Accenture where he advised oil & gas majors and financial institutions on corporate strategy. He started his career at Ernst & Young in the audit and transaction advisory team. Maarten holds a Masters’ degree in Business Economics from the VUB in Brussels and a Masters’ degree in Financial Management from the Vlerick Business School.
