Patty Xu Bio

Patty Xu joined Sterling in 2023 and is Chief Financial Officer. Patty is responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, and accounting functions of the Firm and assisting with compliance matters. Prior to Sterling, Patty was the Chief Financial Officer at Catalyst Investors, a growth equity firm in New York City for over 10 years. Prior to joining Catalyst, Patty was a Vice President at JP Morgan Chase within the Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Services team, where she managed multiple private equity client relationships with aggregate commitments in excess of $2 billion. Previously, she spent over 9 years at Deloitte & Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP, where she last held the position of Audit Senior Manager specializing in audits of private equity funds. Patty received a B.B.A. in Accounting and a M.S. in Taxation from Baruch College. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPAs.
