M. William Macey Bio

William Macey, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, currently serves as Chairman of Aurora Parts & Accessories and Ubique Group and director of Banner, Markon, and Verdantas. Bill was formerly Chairman of Anser Advisory, Marcone, Power Stop and Service Logic, Co-Chairman of Lazer Spot, and is a former director of Aavid Thermal Technologies, The CBORD Group, FCX Performance, GPX International Tire, The Kenan Advantage Group, The Parts Plus Group, Survey Sampling International, Tidewater Holdings, U.S. Shipping Partners, and Shape Technology. Prior to that, Bill was a managing director and the head of U.S. corporate finance at the Asian Oceanic Group, a Hong Kong-based merchant bank. Previously, Bill was a managing director in the M&A Group of Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Prior to that, Bill was an associate at Holme Roberts & Owen and an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Bill earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from Yale Law School. Bill is a member of the Advisory Board of Norwalk Grass Roots Tennis and Education, a nonprofit organization that provides after school programs to inner-city children of Norwalk, Connecticut, and contributes to numerous other educational and charitable organizations.
