Michael Cronin Bio

Mr. Cronin is a member of the private equity team, and focuses on investments in Europe and the Middle East. He is also involved in various portfolio management activities. Prior to StepStone, Mr. Cronin was with Pomona Capital, where he was responsible for evaluating primary and secondary investments. Before that, Mr. Cronin was with Spectrum Equity, a middle market buyout firm based in Boston, where he specialized in originating and executing direct buyout and growth equity investments in media, entertainment, communications and business services companies. Earlier, he spent two years with Banc of America Securities’ industrials investment banking group and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal. Mr. Cronin is a graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and has an MBA from Columbia Business School.
