Matthew Roche Bio

Mr. Roche joined StepStone in 2013 and is a member of the private equity team, focusing on secondaries and middle- and large-market buyouts. Today, Mr. Roche works across all aspects of StepStone’s private equity secondaries program including fundraising, sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. In addition to secondaries, Mr. Roche works on StepStone’s middle- and large-market buyouts sector team, where he is responsible for identifying primary investment opportunities, leading GP relationships, and completing investment diligence. Mr. Roche graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with honors with a BS in finance and international business from New York University Stern School of Business.
