Ian Aaker Bio

Mr. Aaker is a member of the private equity team, focusing on US-based middle, large, and global buyouts. Prior to joining StepStone in 2008, Mr. Aaker was a vice president with Alternative Investment Capital in Tokyo, a private equity fund of funds and advisory firm. Before that he worked for Pacific Corporate Group, a private equity investment firm that oversaw over US$15 billion of private equity commitments for institutional investors. Mr. Aaker received his BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
