Gavin Drake Bio

Gavin Drake is a 25+ year veteran of B2B software marketing with a passion for building scalable growth while developing powerful brands and passionate customers. Gavin brings experience across a range of company sizes, industries, go-to-market models and geographies, having lived and worked in the UK, Switzerland and most recently the US. As a 14-year veteran at Quark Software, Gavin ran the global marketing team and successfully developed and introduced the content automation software category, taking Quark to a category leadership position with a roster of global 2000 clients. Throughout his career Gavin has worked with private equity companies in Europe and the US through successful exits as well as M&A from opportunity evaluation to acquisition integration. At Spotlight, Gavin provides a combination of hands-on marketing leadership, shared services and best practice to ensure the Spotlight playbook continues to evolve in a rapidly changing business and technology world. Gavin earned his BSc Hons degree in Physics and Business Studies from De Montfort University in the UK and a Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
