Edouard Pontet Bio

Mr. Pontet joined Swicorp in 2007. He is admitted to the New York and Paris bars and spent ten years working for Coudert Brothers and Herbert Smith where he developed an expertise in cross-border M&A, private equity and acquisition finance. While working at Coudert and Herbert Smith, he advised leading investment firms like AXA Private Equity, Blackstone, Bank of America, GE Capital and CDPQ on various large cap private equity investments in Europe. At Swicorp, Edouard overlooked the closing of more than 30 investments in and divestements from portfolio companies incorporated in the MENA region and in other emerging markets. Mr. Pontet is a graduate from Paris University Law School and Harvard Law School. He also holds an MBA from Sciences Po. Paris. Mr. Pontet speaks French and English.
