Diego Acevedo joined Southern Cross Group in 2010 and serves(d) as board member of Planigrupo, Estrella and the Port of Barranquilla. Prior to joining Southern Cross, Mr. Acevedo managed the Colombian office of Palmfund, a Latin American private equity fund where he led successful investments in Colombia, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Before then, he worked for Booz in the New York and Bogotá offices. Diego Acevedo graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and has an MBA from Stanford University.
