Bart co-founded Smile Invest in 2017. Before that he spent 8 years at a pan-European investment firm with €1.8B AuM. He was member of the executive committee and managing partner of the Smart Industries team with a particular focus on ICT, engineered products and advanced production. He started his career founding a small technology engineering company and subsequently as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group where he worked across Europe and Asia with a focus on technology, industrials and pharma. Bart is married and a father of two children. In his free time he enjoys travelling, spending time in nature and a good glass of wine.
