Matthew Ebbel Bio

Matt established SkyKnight Capital in 2015. He is a member of the Board of Directors of AmWINS, Core Specialty, Heffernan, New Republic Partners, and DOCS Dermatology. Previously, Matt was on the Board of Directors for MedVet, AeroCare, Watco, and WhiteWater Express. Prior to founding SkyKnight, he was a Managing Director at New Mountain Capital (2003-2015), where he helped the firm grow from a first time, $770 million private equity fund to a $15 billion alternative asset manager. Matt began his career at McKinsey & Company (2001-2003) as a business analyst in corporate finance and strategy. Matt graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College (2001) with a B.A. in Economics and is a CFA charterholder.
