Jonathan Borell Bio

Mr. Borell joined SK Capital as a Managing Director in 2019 focusing on lower middle market investments. Prior to joining SK Capital, Mr. Borell was a Managing Director at Sun Capital Partners where he spent 13 years leading investment sourcing and execution across a variety of industries including specialty chemicals, healthcare and consumer products. He had board-level portfolio management responsibilities and led numerous successful sale processes, debt refinancings, and add-on acquisitions. Before joining Sun Capital, Mr. Borell served in the Investment Banking division of Raymond James & Associates. Mr. Borell serves on the Board of Directors of Vandemark, Techmer, Tilley Chemical, Canlak, Deltech and Florachem. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Nucera. Mr. Borell received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University.
