Mark Demetree Bio

Mark is a co-founder and Operating Partner of Silverhawk Capital Partners. Mark is currently the Chairman of Meridian Chemicals. He is also a director of American In-Home Care and Spartan Energy. Previously, Mark served as Chairman of Texas Petrochemicals, Inc. (TXPI) (2004-2009), was a Director of American Italian Pasta Co. (AIPC) (1998-2010), and was Chairman and CEO of British Salt Holdings, LLC and its affiliate US Salt, LLC. From 2002-2004 he was Chairman and CEO of American Grinding Systems, LLC. From 1993 to 1997 he was President of North American Salt Company, a subsidiary of Compass Minerals, Inc. (CMP). Mark earned his B.S in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
