Derek Pease Bio

Derek Pease joined Silver Lake in 2020 and is a Director, Legal – Fund Formation. Prior to joining Silver Lake, he was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he specialized in the formation, structuring, and management of private investment funds. Previously, Derek served as General Counsel at a private equity registered investment adviser and was an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. He received a B.S. from Duke University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
