Jake LaJoie Bio

Jake is a co-founder and Managing Member of Sileo Capital. Prior to co-founding Sileo, he was a co-founder and Managing Member of Corlex Capital from 2016 to 2019, an independent financial sponsor, where he had responsibilities for sourcing transactions, deal execution, and post-acquisition management of portfolio companies. Prior to co-founding Corlex, Jake was a Managing Director at Panton Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Atlanta, Georgia where he served as a Board Member for a Panton Equity Partners’ portfolio company, Track Utilities, LLC. Before returning to private equity, Jake was the Chief Financial Officer of Shakey’s USA, a private equity-backed restaurant operation with $85 million in system-wide sales and 650 employees. His primary responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, financial accounting, management of business metrics reporting, information technology, procurement & purchasing, tax, treasury, insurance, M&A and all general accounting functions. Prior to joining Shakey’s Jake was a private equity professional with Argonne Capital Group and Roark Capital Group, where he sourced, executed and managed investments totaling over $200 million. Before his move to private equity he spent four years with Banc of America Securities in the Global Corporate and Investment Banking Group. Jake began his career as a credit analyst with NationsBank. Jake has a unique combination of private equity, investment banking, corporate finance and operations experience. Over the course of his career he has completed 16 principal investments totaling $480 million of equity and more than $15 billion of M&A and corporate finance transactions. Jake holds a BSc. in Finance from the University of Florida, cum laude.
