E.J. Sloboda Bio

Prior to joining Sidereal, E.J. was a Principal at The Wicks Group of Companies, a middle-market private equity firm where he spent ten years managing and executing many of the investments in the media and education sectors. In addition, he was a key member of many of the firm’s internal initiatives as well as a member of the investment committee. Before joining Wicks in 2003, E.J. worked at Wasserstein Perella & Co. where he executed private equity, M&A, and restructuring transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients across several industry sectors. E.J. began his career in operations management at Capital One Financial Corporation. E.J. earned a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
