Jeff Smith Bio

Jeff is a Principal at Shore Capital, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Jeff’s responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and enabling the growth of Shore’s investments in the food and beverage industry. Prior to joining Shore, Jeff was a Vice President at Ballast Point Ventures, a growth equity firm focused on investing in software and healthcare companies. Previously, Jeff worked at Arbor Investments, a food and beverage-focused private equity firm. Jeff received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Finance from the Honors College at Michigan State University.
