Malia LaFleur is Vice President of Originations at Sheridan Capital Partners, where she leads proprietary deal sourcing efforts. She is responsible for identifying and building relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and executives of privately held businesses. Prior to joining Sheridan, Malia was the first hire on the Partnership Development team at Shore Capital Partners, where she played a key role in building and scaling the firm’s sourcing function. She sourced platform and add-on investments across multiple sectors and helped establish best practices for proactive outreach and founder engagement. Malia began her career in sales and business development, selling the infrastructure and engineering services behind large-scale and high-profile events. Malia earned her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University.
