Spencer Calvert Bio

As a member of Serent's Growth Team, Spencer works closely with Serent portfolio company leaders to drive value creation and growth initiatives. Prior to joining Serent, Spencer was an investor at Upfront Ventures. There he focused on sourcing, due diligence, deal negotiation and execution, and portfolio operations for early stage software businesses. Before Upfront, Spencer was Senior Director of Growth at Stance, a venture backed apparel business. There he setup the data analytics and customer insight’s functions, launched new marketing channels, and led strategic projects for the executive team and board. Prior to Stance, Spencer worked at McKinsey and Company, primarily in the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications practice, focused on digital transformations throughout the US and Europe. Spencer holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University.
