John Robinson Bio

John Robinson joined Sequel Holdings in 2017 as an operating partner focusing on food and beverage opportunities. John serves as Chairman of the Board of Chairmans Foods and sits on the Board of Directors of Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen. Prior to Sequel, Mr. Robinson was a Managing Partner for The Ranch Winery, a wine co-packing and processing facility in Napa Valley, CA, which was successfully sold to E&J Gallo Winery in 2015. Prior to The Ranch Winery, Mr. Robinson was COO of Morningstar Foods, the private-label and foodservice dairy refrigerated warehouse business of Dean Foods Company. Prior to Morningstar Foods, he was SVP of Sales and Marketing for Dean Dairy Group with Dean Foods Company. Mr. Robinson joined Dean Foods Company when Dean Foods acquired Robinson Dairy, where he held various positions of increasing authority from 1982-2000. Mr. Robinson received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
