Christian Gehrlein Bio

Christian Gehrlein has been Managing Director of Süd Beteiligungen GmbH since the beginning of 2024. His focus is on new acquisitions and portfolio expansion. Mr. Gehrlein has expertise primarily in mergers and acquisitions, financing, and strategy development. He has been involved in the structuring and implementation of national and international transactions in various industries. Previously, he was Managing Director of the corporate finance consultancy Freitag & Co (Frankfurt/Boston) and gained further experience at an international auditing firm and in strategy consulting. His clients included, in particular, family-owned medium-sized businesses, owner-managed companies, and financial investors. Mr. Gehrlein studied business administration at the EBS Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and international management at the University of St. Andrews.
