Matt Meehan Bio

Matt's experience includes over 35 years of investing in Private Equity, Management Turnarounds, Distressed Debt, and Special Situations with a recognized expertise in Europe. Prior to joining Sandton Capital, Matt worked as a PM for two firms, Eos and MeehanCombs with the majority of the portfolios invested in European distressed credits, restructurings and special situations in multiple jurisdictions. During that time, he invested over $3 billion in more than 200 companies across the credit spectrum. Prior to that, Matt was a partner at Stolberg, Meehan and Scano as well as Weiss, Peck and Greer investing in turnaround buyouts and restructurings. Earlier in his career, Matt worked as a crisis manager and invested in distressed credits at The First Boston Corporation.
