William Bianco Bio

William Bianco began his career in 1990 as an Associate at the law firm Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P., specializing in corporate and securities law. He became a Partner in 1998 and remained in this position until 2000. During this time Sandler was one of his clients. Mr. Bianco joined Sandler as a Managing Director in 2000. Since that time, he has been responsible for structuring and negotiating the entry and exit of the Firm's private equity investments. He also is involved with significant portfolio company legal matters, including negotiating material acquisitions, divestures and financings and providing guidance on regulatory matters. Mr. Bianco has a B.A. from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated with honors.
