Kenneth Ryan Bio

Ken co-chairs Sandbrook’s Executive Committee and is a member of the Investment, Performance & Growth, Valuation and Climate Impact & ESG Committees. He sits on the board of NeXtWind. Prior to founding Sandbrook, Ken was a partner at Riverstone Holdings, a leading energy focused private equity firm. At Riverstone, he was Global Head of Corporate Development, Capital Strategies and Investor Relations. He served on the firm’s ESG committee and on the investment committee of the credit funds as well as a number of other investment vehicles. He was a director of HES International and Trailstone Group. Prior to Riverstone, Ken was a partner at Gleacher Partners, a boutique M&A firm. He started his career in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs, working in both London and New York. Ken has a law degree from Trinity College, Dublin.
