Max Greer Bio

Max Greer is a Principal with the firm and has over 20 years of middle market and corporate banking experience. Max is involved in business development, deal execution of new investments, and portfolio management for several of Salem's investments. Max began his career at Branch Banking & Trust (BB&T) where he held various roles across the bank's commercial and corporate divisions; his primary focus included business development, underwriting, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Salem, Max managed the middle market efforts for Pinnacle Bank across the Greensboro/Winston Salem region where he advised on M&A and growth financing, cash flow optimization, and ownership succession. Max graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Finance and completed the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
