David Faris Bio

David Faris is a Partner of the Firm with over 20 years of corporate and investment banking experience. Prior to joining Salem, David served as Senior Vice President in the Commercial Banking Group at RBC Bank (USA), where he focused on middle-market, sponser-driven transactions (buy-outs and re-capitalizations) across a diverse group of industries in the Southeast. Prior to joining RBC Bank, he served as Principal in the Paper and Forest Products Group at Banc of America Securities. There he was responsible for the origination and execution of corporate and investment banking transactions in the US and Canada. David graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in International Studies, and received his M.B.A. from USC's Moore School of Business.
