Ashwin Prakash Bio

Ashwin Prakash joined Sageview Capital in 2018 and services as the firm’s Controller. In his role, Ashwin is responsible for managing the firm’s financial operations, including its accounting and tax functions, and for limited partner fund reporting. In addition, Ashwin assists with the firm’s compliance functions and with service provider oversight. Before joining Sageview, Ashwin worked as a Senior Audit Associate at RSM US LLP in their financial services group. During his time at RSM, he was responsible for auditing and reviewing financial statements for middle-market private equity firms with Fund assets under management ranging from $250 million to $750 million. Ashwin attended and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014, receiving a B.S. in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut.
