Nate Kinney Bio

Nate Kinney joined Rockwood’s Denver office in 2024. He is responsible for transaction analysis and due diligence, financial and operational modeling and strategic and operational involvement with portfolio companies and senior executive teams. Most recently, Nate was a vice president at Prolign Capital, a lower middle market private equity group in Dallas, where his transactions and portfolio management included companies across industrial, niche manufacturing and specialty distribution sectors. Previously, he held positions at two other lower middle market PE groups in Dallas: ORIX USA and Appereo Capital. He began his career as a mechanical engineer working as a consultant for industrial clients. Nate received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
