Bert O'neal Bio

Bert joined Roark in 2020 and is a member of Roark’s Responsible Investment Committee. Prior to joining Roark, Bert was Vice President of Logistics and Commercial Excellence at Vulcan Materials Company. While at Vulcan, Bert led Procurement, Rail Logistics, Truck Logistics, Logistics Innovations and Commercial Excellence, helping them build industry-leading capabilities across the materials supply chain. Prior to that, Bert worked at McKinsey & Company, working with clients on supply chain, procurement, strategy, sales and marketing and other operational areas. Bert received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in English from Washington and Lee University.
