Mr. Gray is a Managing Director and General Counsel of Energy and Infrastructure for Riverstone. He is based in Houston. Prior to joining Riverstone in 2010, Mr. Gray was an attorney in the business development group of GDF SUEZ’s North American affiliate, where he helped develop the company’s renewable energy portfolio in North America and supported the company’s other power and gas activities. Prior to joining GDF SUEZ, Mr. Gray was counsel at Occidental Petroleum Corporation in Houston and Tripoli, Libya. In this role, he supported the company’s oil and gas activities in the midstream and upstream sectors. Mr. Gray began his career at Vinson & Elkins, where he focused on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions work in the energy sector. Mr. Gray received his B.A. in Economics and History from Georgetown University and his J.D. from the Duke University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
