Will Armenta is a founder, operator, and investor with deep expertise in turning vision into reality. He leads deal development and structuring efforts at Rise Growth Partners as Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and works shoulder-to-shoulder with Rise partner firms to unlock opportunities and scale with confidence. He is committed to helping partners implement and execute growth plans that create lasting value—from scoping and capitalizing on tuck-in acquisitions to designing employee incentive programs, ownership restructuring, and more. He began his career on the trading floor at Fidelity Investments before honing portfolio management skills at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth, covering multi-asset and endowment-style portfolios. He was an early employee at Addepar, where he helped scale the fintech platform to over $2.5 trillion in assets—incubating and scaling product, business, and client teams. He launched their partnerships team, led Addepar’s first acquisition and championed their Integration Center and Developer Portal. He later joined 8VC as an entrepreneur-in-residence and co-founded Opto Investments, a private fund solution for RIAs. With two decades of experience across financial services, Will is a sought-after resource in alternative investments and fintech and advises founders and institutions on emerging best practices. He remains an advisor to Opto and Fligoo, and is a co-owner of 4FRNT Ski Company. Will graduated magna cum laude from Babson College.
