Richard Lenz Bio

Since 2013 he has been a leading co-founder and managing partner of Rigeto. After studying mechanical engineering and completing his doctorate at the Technical University of Munich and studying business administration at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Richard held senior positions in the private equity industry (including Orlando Management AG), in M&A at Deutsche Bank, and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He has also held numerous management positions, including at BHT Hygienetechnik, the EIS Aircraft Group, and Interlübke. The experience he gained here allows him to provide thoughtful, considered support to the companies acquired by Rigeto. His industry focus is on industrial goods, medical technology, security/communications and aviation, and in particular on the companies responsible for the consumer goods sector. In addition to building growth-oriented organizations around successful entrepreneurs, he is particularly committed to safeguarding and strengthening family-oriented corporate cultures. In addition to his work at Rigeto, Richard is a member of the TEG Board of Trustees and of YPO Munich.
