Borislav Toninski Bio

Borislav has been working for Rigeto since 2019, where he was responsible for the acquisitions of Oehm and Rehbein and inopla, among others. As a long-time deal captain, he is familiar with a wide range of business models, builds investment cases, and structures potential value-added approaches. To this end, he leads numerous negotiations, structures financing, and implements appropriate participation models. His industry focus is on software and tech-enabled services, as well as medical technology. Prior to that, he spent nearly eight years in the private equity business at Odewald KMU and CMP (both in Berlin) and Pioneer Point Partners (London). He gained experience in a broad spectrum of investment opportunities and situations, from corporate growth financing to succession planning and special situations. He held responsible positions on-site at two investments in the CMP portfolio for over two years, gaining firsthand experience of the challenges facing medium-sized companies. Borislav began his professional career in M&A at Freitag & Co. in Frankfurt. Borislav studied business administration at the University of Mannheim (Dipl. Kfm.) and received an MBA with distinction from the London Business School.
