Matthew Swanson Bio

Matthew Swanson is an experienced executive with more than a decade of investment and leadership experience at Ridgewood. He first joined the Ridgewood Companies in 2002, and returned full time upon graduating from Harvard Law School in 2007. In addition to founding Ridgewood Infrastructure, Matthew is also Executive Chairman and Senior Managing Director of Ridgewood Energy. Matthew received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he focused on corporate, securities, and tax law. Matthew received his A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard University, where he concentrated in economics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. While working towards his J.D., he also earned a master’s degree (LL.M.) in commercial law from the University of Cambridge, England. Matthew is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
