Michael Albrecht Bio

Michael Albrecht has deep experience investing in real assets, most recently serving as Acting Global Head of Infrastructure & Real Assets for Allstate Investments. Prior to joining Ridgewood in 2014, Michael was Direct Investments Head of Allstate's Global Infrastructure & Real Asset private equity investment business. Before joining Allstate, he was a Senior Acquisitions Officer in JPMorgan Asset Management's multi-billion dollar Global Infrastructure Investments Private Equity Fund, where he made acquisitions and served on portfolio company boards within many energy-related sectors in North America and Europe. Previously, Michael was as an Analyst at Altrinsic Global Advisors LLC, a multi-billion dollar asset manager of equity funds, where he led global investment coverage of several energy and real asset sectors. Michael began his career at RBC Dain Rauscher and Citigroup, in private wealth management and equity research, respectively. Michael received a MBA from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Richard Stockton College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Michael is also a CFA(r) charterholder.
