Steve Hinchliff Bio

Steve works closely with our portfolio companies from supporting our initial investment appraisal, through helping to develop and execute the turnaround strategy and ultimately to the delivery of a successful exit. Operating across the UK, Steve’s involvement with our portfolio companies usually starts with financial due diligence evaluation. Following our initial investment Steve works with our portfolio companies to help build and deliver the agreed financial, operational turnaround and growth strategy. In addition to his financial and operational expertise Steve has extensive experience of refinancing, restructuring and execution of M&A transactions. Prior to Rcapital Steve was a COO and CFO of a media and hospitality focused investment boutique having previously worked as CFO of a private equity backed e-commerce business. Earlier in his career Steve spent three years as an investment manager for 3i Plc following 8 years as a member of the PWC private equity corporate finance team.
