Matthew Olde Bio

Matt is based in Auckland and joined Rangatira Investments in July 2020. Prior to this, Matt was at Mercury NZ for a decade and had a wide range of executive roles including corporate strategy, managing the IPO of Mercury in 2013, and serving as CEO of metering subsidiary, Metrix. Before 2010 Matt worked in investment banking at ABN AMRO in Sydney and London and then Deutsche Bank in Auckland. He has Commerce (Hons) and Law degrees from the University of Auckland and completed the Stanford Executive Programme at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Matt is also a member of the Institute of Directors and is on the portfolio company boards of APC Innovate, NZS Group, Quay Infrastructure (t/a Northland Waste), Stuart Drummond Transport, Boulcott Hospital, and is also on the Investment Committee of BeGroup.
