Dave Shephard Bio

Dave joined Rainier Partners in 2022 and is the Executive Director of Portfolio Operations. Prior to Rainier, Dave spent six years at Bain & Co., where he managed teams focused on private equity due diligence and strategic challenges for leading companies across consumer, technology, and industrial sectors. Dave began his career serving as a combat arms officer in the U.S. Army where he held a wide variety of strategic, operational, and leadership positions. Dave received his BS in Information Systems Engineering from West Point and MBA from Harvard Business School.
