Mark Breen Bio

Managing Director with over 17 years’ experience across transaction execution, portfolio company management, risk management, technical and commercial optimisation. Mr Breen was previously Operating Director at I Squared where he was a Member of the Board of Directors for multiple portfolio companies and participated in Investment Committee evaluations. Prior to I Squared, Mr Breen was Senior Vice President of Operations at Quantum Utility Generation and responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of over 1,500 MWs of natural gas, renewable and coal assets owned or co-owned by Quantum Utility Generation. Mr Breen was also the technical and due diligence lead for all acquisition opportunities. Mr Breen has previous global experience in project management, design and permitting of numerous energy related projects. Holds a BS Mechanical Engineering, Energy Design emphasis from California Maritime Academy.
