Jim Baird Bio

Jim is a Partner at Quantum and oversees all legal aspects of Quantum’s activities. Jim joined Quantum from Andrews Kurth, where he had practiced law since 1978 with emphasis on partnership, limited liability company, securities, and tax law. While at Andrews Kurth, Jim acted as primary outside legal counsel on substantially all of Quantum’s private equity investments. Jim holds a B.S. degree with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
