Greg Butler Bio

Greg is a Vice President at Quantum. Prior to joining Quantum, Greg was Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Gryphon Oil & Gas, a passive interest platform backed by global private equity firm Blackstone. Before forming Gryphon, Greg served as Chief Financial Officer of privately-held oil and gas company Accelerate Resources. Greg has previous private equity experience, working as an investment professional at the energy private equity firm Pine Brook Partners, and began his career in the Upstream A&D Group of the investment bank Simmons & Company. Greg holds a B.S. in Finance and Corporate Reporting from Boston College where he graduated Cum Laude.
