Bill Montgomery Bio

Bill is a Partner at Quantum and a member of Quantum's Investment Committee. Prior to joining Quantum, Bill was a Partner in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs where he headed the firm’s Natural Resources Group as well as its Houston office. Bill was also a member of Goldman’s Investment Banking Services Leadership Group. Bill’s career as a banker spanned 22 years and was focused on large cap energy companies primarily in the upstream and oil field service sectors. Bill serves on the boards of Enterprise Products Holdings, LLC (NYSE: EPD) and Cockrell Interests and has previously served on the board of Apache Corporation (NYSE: APA). He has also been an active civic leader, chairing the boards of the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the St. Francis Episcopal Day School. He is currently a member of the board of trustees of the Episcopal Health Foundation and the Board of Visitors of the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Bill holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
