Steffen Gorig Bio

Steffen has extensive experience as a managing director and investor in the restructuring area. After several years in London with an American investment bank in the field of mergers & acquisitions, he moved into the industry and took over his first turnaround case, an insolvent mechanical engineering company. After successful restructuring and six years of continuous development work, it was successfully sold to a Northern European industrial holding. Subsequently, Steffen spent several years as the sole managing director of various international industrial companies, responsible for their business development and turnaround. In all cases, the profit zone was reached after a short period of development work. Before founding Quantum Group, he spent several years as a managing director at a publicly listed investment company. Steffen studied mechanical engineering in Germany and holds an MBA from New York University.
