John Ramey Bio

Mr. Ramey holds a Bachelor of Arts and MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law. Before founding Private Equity Capital Corporation in 1998 Mr. Ramey served as a partner with Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney and Company (HKW) from 1986-1997. HKW is a private equity capital firm that was founded in 1903. During his 11-year association with HKW, they acquired seven companies and several add-on acquisitions to these companies. He has served on the Board of many of these acquisitions. Prior to HKW, Mr. Ramey was with IBM Corporation.
